Thallus pale green to olive-green, without pseudocyphellae. Ascomata in groups of 2–6, with fused ostioles, immersed or erumpent from the substratum, partly to almost completely covered by the thallus, 0.6–1.0 mm long, 0.5–0.8 mm tall. Ascomatal wall without a distinct clypeus, to 200 μm thick; ostiole whitish, lateral. Ascospores 2 per ascus, densely muriform, elongate-fusiform, with rounded ends, 110–175 × 30–45 μm. A rare, corticolous species in eastern Qld, but not collected there in recent times. Also on Lord Howe Island. | ||
